Pro Bar Maker: Privacy and Cookies Policy
At TrooSoft, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users and their clients. Here you’ll find information on how we treat data that we collect from Shopify API, how we process the data and when we discard them.
Application users
When someone installs the app we gather and store the shop name and email as configured in Shopify. This is needed for contacting you in case we need to communicate with you about Pro Bar Maker. We do not make this information available to any third party for any reason!
Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Email addresses collected via an Email Sign-up Bar
The only data of your customers that may be held by Pro Bar Maker are the email addresses of visitors who visited your Shopify e-shop, and entered their email into an Email Sign-up Bar. You can request to delete an email address provided by a visitor of your e-shop (refer to Section “Right to be forgotten”) below. You have full control over which email addresses are kept in Pro Bar Maker’s storage. In particular, you can delete an email address collected by Pro Bar Maker from page “Collected Emails“.
When you uninstall Pro Bar Maker, all email addresses of visitors to your e-shop held by the app are erased.
Access to Your Personal Information
You are entitled to access the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Cynthia Stamou.
Right to be forgotten
Upon request we can delete all of your data. If you need to delete the email of one of your clients collected via an Email Sign-up bar, upon a buyer’s request, please state that in your request. Email your request to our data protection officer Cynthia Stamou.

Cookies Policy
We use a system of classifying the different types of cookies which we use on the Website, or which may be used by third parties through our websites. The classification was developed by the International Chamber of Commerce UK and explains more about which cookies we use, why we use them, and the functionality you will lose if you decide you don’t want to have them on your device.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your personal computer, mobile or other device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user’s device.
How long are cookies stored for?
Persistent cookies – these cookies remain on a user’s device for the period of time specified in the cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created that particular cookie.
Session cookies – these cookies allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Session cookies are created temporarily. Once you close the browser, all session cookies are deleted.
Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improve the user experience.
You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org and www.youronlinechoices.eu.
